SHIPPING GUIDE

How much is shipping?

We offer complimentary shipping for all orders exceeding $150.
For orders of $150 and below a flat shipping rate of $18 applies.
Note: We may, at our discretion, combine multiple orders to the same address and refund any excess shipping charges.


How do you ship plants?

We ship exclusively to the non-quarantine states of VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD, and SA.
All plants sold are shipped in their pots via Australia Post Express Post in sturdy, reinforced packing boxes.
Tracking is provided for all purchases. Aus Post Tracking will be provided once your plants are dispatched.


How long does shipping take?

Orders are generally dispatched within 48 hours, excluding weekends.
Most plants arrive within 1-3 days of dispatch. However, some plants can take up to 5 days during Australia Post's "magical postal periods." Despite potential delays, it is exceedingly rare for plants to arrive in less-than-perfect condition, thanks to our meticulous packing process.


What happens if my order goes missing in the mail?

Please note that we are not responsible for items damaged or lost by Australia Post. However, we will assist you in tracking your order.


Do you offer delivery?

We currently neither offer delivery nor pick-up services.


Are all the plants you sell Australian Natives?

Our inventory includes a diverse range of indoor and specialty plants, native to various global locations, from Australia to Bolivia. Please refer to each plant description for further information.


Warranties

If your plants do not arrive in good condition, please contact us immediately (within 24 hours) at melbournerareplants@gmail.com with photos of your plant.

  • Include your order # in the subject
  • Attach multiple images of the plant in question
  • Provide any extra information you believe will assist us

Failure to contact us within 24 hours of delivery will be taken as confirmation that your plant has arrived in satisfactory condition. Note that we are not responsible for your plant once in your care. If you have any concerns with your new plant, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
